Purpose
Aims to help students gain the skills and knowledge required to prepare and cook baked and pastry items at an introductory level in a commercial kitchen. This programme also aims to support the development of students' literacy and numeracy skills required for further study and the ability to work safely, with limited supervision as a employee in the food industry.
