The Diploma is designed to follow-on from the certificate of Contemporary Performance Music and expands on skills established in the first year. There is a focus on composing, arranging, performing and recording original material and developing a set of skills to prepare you for self employent as a muscian.

During the year you will perform in bands and learn to record in the UCOL sound recording rooms. The areas being covered in class are; music knowledge, listening analysis, music appreciation, skills traing, performances, recording techniques, business studies and enhancing individual instrumnet techniques.
